Josh Brooks photoPackaging is among the most creative and technically challenging of all industries. Above all, it plays a central role in everyone’s lives – I challenge anyone to find a household that is not bursting with the fruits of our industry’s hard work.

The UK Packaging Awards, run by Packaging News, exist to celebrate this industry and the exceptional work it does in terms of design, production and business management.

That’s where you come in. If you're reading this web page, you’ve already taken the first step to winning the industry’s most prestigious competition – and reaping the accolades of your peers, not to mention the marketing opportunities that winning an award like this brings.

But what happens next? Once you have chosen which category you want to enter, fill in the form on the entry kit and make sure you get your entry to us by 5 June.

When we’ve received all the entries, they are put through the most rigorous and independent judging process by a team of experts drawn from packaging industry bodies, brand owners and packaging buyers. Four special Reader’s Choice Awards are voted for online by Packaging News readers.

Shortlists will be published later in the summer and finally, the awards will be presented at a glitzy dinner at London’s Grosvenor House on 4 November in front of hundreds from the industry’s top companies.
