Extended Deadline Announced!
Entries will be accepted until the 28th of June

Good packaging is at the heart of any brand’s success. It delivers products in perfect condition, often after journeys of thousands of miles. It keeps food fresh and other goods unscathed in the most ingenious of ways. Not only that, but it is arguably the marketing medium with the strongest relationship with consumers.

The UK Packaging Awards, now in its fourth year, exist to celebrate all these aspects of packaging and the endlessly creative industry that produces it. The event brings together every link in the supply chain to honour those who are leading the way in showing why the UK’s packaging industry is the most vibrant in the world.

Be they packaging manufacturers, label printers, materials suppliers, brand owners, retailers, design agencies or any other player in the supply chain, winners of a UK Packaging Award know that their achievement puts them at the pinnacle of that industry. Our mix of awards for business performance and pack quality make sure that every aspect of packaging has its moment in the limelight.

Winning isn’t easy, of course. Our judges include some of the most demanding packaging buyers and specifiers in the industry; last year’s panel featured packaging buyers from Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Reckitt Benckiser, Innocent and B&Q. This year’s panel will be just as high-profile.

If that sounds good, it gets better. The black-tie UK Packaging Awards ceremony, which takes place on 3 November at Grosvenor House, on London’s Park Lane, is one of the industry’s most glamorous events. Last year’s ceremony, hosted by BBC Breakfast’s Bill Turnbull, attracted 400 executives from across the industry, making it the sector’s biggest awards event of the year.

So enter the UK Packaging Awards 2010 and prove you’re the best. The deadline for entries 14 June 2010; shortlists are published in September.

Good luck and I look forward to seeing you on 3 November.
